GWSM appoint African-nation specialist scout

Updated: Dec 8, 2022

Global World Sports Management have hired African nation-specialist scout Jacob Nyaudoh to their network, attaining first-hand coaching experience in Kenya alongside a contact network of coaches working in Africa’s football leagues’ top tiers.

Nyaudoh’s brother, Dunstan Nyaudo, is the current Technical Director, former coach, for Kenyan Premier League side Ulinzi Stars.

Nyaudoh’s objective at GWSM is to provide a platform for players to broaden their exposure to clubs, both from his network in Africa as well as other countries, ranging from top-flight leagues to colleges and high-schools, to broaden the players’ exposure.

GWSM’s newest member is part of the Football Coaches Network intent on producing coaching clinics around the country for experienced coaches to connect and develop their inexperienced counterparts.

“The next step is to organise a zoom meeting with all these coaches to introduce what I’m doing with Global World Sports Management.

“I have been coaching in Kenya where I was born and my brother is currently the Technical Director at Ulinzi. In Tanzania, East Africa, one of my fellow coaches is a goalkeeper coach in the Tanzania Premier League. In Southern Africa, I know the person who runs the sports leaders institute Zimbabwe, teaching coaches. In Ghana, I know a coach in their Premier League. In Nigeria, Senegal, there are coaches I have been involved with in seminars and organised sports initiatives with. The contacts continue in Gambia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Angola and more.

“With these contacts – I am able to get into that market”.

Nyaudoh also has contacts based in Germany and Sweden.

“In Sweden, there’s a Kenyan national player playing in the second tier,” resumed Nyaudoh. “We are in conversation with him, he’s shared with me his profile, he’s willing to move to enter a more advanced league.

“The contact in Germany is a friend of mine who I used to play with back in Kenya”.

An intermediary’s camera equipment is essential, according to Nyaudoh, to confirm a player’s potential before taking a flight.

“Is the player fitting in with the team’s philosophy?” explained Nyaudoh.

“Before we make the attempt to travel and see the player, we can share his content with the targeted clubs and ensure there is interest first.

“You have to have your equipment right. Is the player able to share with me videos, his profile, stats?”

Nyaudoh’s next visit to Africa is between the 12th and 30th of December when he travels to Kenya.

African players based in the uk also as well as all other players interested in working with Nyaudoh can get in contact.
